Barnton Bunker Remembrance Day Event 2024

Join us for a meaningful experience at Edinburgh’s Barnton Bunker this Remembrance Day weekend. Explore a historic R.A.F. military command centre and nuclear shelter, preserved in tribute to those who served. Our guided tours will take you through three levels of this remarkable complex, where you can meet resident animals, watch a short documentary, and leave a heartfelt message in our “Dream Room.”

We welcome veterans and their families to reflect, connect, and honour the past in a peaceful setting. Enjoy tea in the courtyard and a chance to view the unique film, featuring stories from those who worked here in the 1950s-1960s.
